There are 96 Diamond round stones in the 1.93 carat of melee which surrounds the main Red Emerald and sit along the architecture of the shank.  A LOT of hours were spent to set these gems in 14K white gold. 
 
Rehealed fractures are oriented magnificently in the stone, and they look like little individual flames lapping their way up through the table.  The reds and deep purples sing in this jewel, and no angle seems to be without brightness and color.
