This hexagonal red beryl features a darker, orange-red core surrounded by a purple-red rind. The crystal is probably large enough to facet a very small gemstone. This specimen is well-formed, but very small, and fits into the standard 1 3/8" gem jar.

This piece has received no treatment and is offered in its natural state.
